Hill of a Race

April 14, 2024

Hill of a Race is an event unlike anything seen in the Edmonton area. When’s the last time you powered your way up a groomed ski run in your runners? You heard correct. The race is held on the groomed slopes of the Rabbit Hill Snow Resort. And no, there will not be any skiers or snowboarders on the hill with you. It will be a challenging and exciting time for all levels of snow runners, walkers, crawlers and sliders.

Like the other races in the River’s Edge Running Series, this is a charitable event to raise much needed funds for Olive Tree Projects a not-for-profit birthing/maternity centre in Jacmel, Haiti, founded by Sarah Wallace in 2008.  All net proceeds from this event will go to support Olive Tree Projects.

You will be making your way up and down groomed ski runs so extra traction under your runners may be required.  Your call.  Walking poles are permitted.  Can’t wait to see you at the hill!
