Summer Tubing Safety

Tickets

All tickets must be purchased online in advance.

New! Rabbit Hill now uses RFID tubing tickets. This means you get quicker access to the tube lanes and the ability to reload your RFID card online. Each tubing ticket gets you access to the tubing area for a 2-hour time block. Each person must have their own ticket and are not transferable. RFID cards must be carried at all times, so please ensure you have a pocket or something to carry your RFID card with you.

Closed toe shoes are required to participate in tubing. If you are coming to watch we recommend good footwear for uneven ground.

If there are no advance bookings in the last time slot of the day, the decision to close early may be made.

Our cafeteria will be open with a limited snack menu. Make sure you try out our new scoop ice cream this summer!

NOTE: Given the weight of the tubes, guardian assistance is necessary for children aged 3-6 years old, or for any other individuals unable to carry the tube independently.

Tubing Tickets (2-Hours)
  • Ages 5+: $32
  • Ages 3-4: $27

All pricing and ticket types are subject to change at any time during the season.

All pricing subject to GST.

Summer FAQs

Where will the tubing lanes be located?

There are four lanes located on our main run. There are two long lanes (approx 400 feet long) and two shorter lanes (approx 200 feet long).

How do you get to the top?

To get to the top of our two longer lanes, you will ride the carpet lift up part of the way and walk up a gradual switch-back gravel trail to the top. Your tube will be waiting for you when you get there! It is only a 2-3 minute walk to the top of the longer lanes.

For the two shorter lanes, you will take your tube up the carpet lift with you and the start of the lanes will be just off to the side.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe shoes good for uneven terrain are MANDATORY, and it is recommended that you wear clothing and shoes you do not mind getting a little dirty. The tubes are cleaned regularly but will get dusty and dirty from use.

Helmets are not required, but available for rent at Customer Service for $10 per day if you like. You are also welcome to wear your own helmet while tubing. We recommend a helmet that provides full coverage of the back of the head.

Do I have to purchase tubing tickets online or can I show up and purchase the day of?

All tubing tickets must be purchased online in advance to reserve a spot. There are likely to be days that we sell out and we don’t want you to miss out!

If I purchase tubing tickets online, will I also have to choose a date?

You must pick a date and arrival time when you purchase online. You can begin tubing once your time slot starts and you will have 2 hours to tube as much as you like. To redeem your RFID Resort Pass (tubing ticket), bring your receipt with the barcode to the pickup boxes located near Customer Service. There are no refunds for unused tubing tickets.

how far in advance can I purchase a tubing ticket?

Tubing tickets can be purchased up until the end of the September Long weekend.

How do I change, cancel or get a refund for my online ticket purchase?

We are more than happy to change the date on your ticket if you cannot make it to your scheduled tubing session. Please email us at [email protected] with your preferred new date. If you do not have a date in mind, we will provide you a credit on your account to use later. There are no refunds available. Tickets purchased online during the season must be used by the closing date of that current summer season. Tubing tickets cannot be transferred to future seasons. For details on our full Refund Policy, please click here.

How old do you have to be to go tubing?

Riders must be at least 3 years old to ride in the Tube Park. We do not allow lap riding - only one person per tube.

  • The two short lanes are open to 3+
  • The two longer lanes are open to those at least 42" tall. Any rider under 42" must be tethered to an adult’s tube to ride the long lanes.

Given the weight of the tubes, guardian assistance is absolutely necessary for children aged 3-6 years old or for any other individuals unable to carry the tube independently. Guardians who are helping a child will require a (FREE) lift ticket, which can be picked up at Customer Service. These tickets will allow you to help your child but will not provide access to participate in tubing—one guardian ticket per child.

Can we double in a tube or ride in pairs?

Only one person is allowed in a tube. All riders must be able to ride and carry the tube independently or have a guardian with them who can carry their tube. We will allow trains of 2 tubes maximum per lane, which will be at the sole discretion of Tubing Staff.

How fast are the tubing lanes?

The long lanes can reach speeds over 40 km/hour, but that will vary based on conditions and the weight of the rider. If conditions change (eg. rain) and the lanes speed up, we have the ability to adjust the braking mats or close the lanes. We will test all lanes prior to re-opening after any change in conditions. Lanes are tested at the start of every day before opening.

Is the cafeteria open?

Yes, the cafeteria will be open with a limited snack menu. Make sure you try out our new scoop ice cream this summer. We are proudly serving High Horse Coffee and Town Square Brewing beverages. We have tables available both inside and outside on the deck of our day lodge for you to enjoy a bite to eat. A limited number of microwaves are also available.

Is there anywhere for me to store my bags?

No backpacks, bags or purses are allowed on the tubing lanes. Cubbies and lockers will be available inside the Day Lodge. Please note, Rabbit Hill does not recommend leaving valuables unattended in cubbies or inside vehicles. Rabbit Hill is not responsible for any guest belongings stolen from a cubby or a guests vehicle.

Can I use my phone or GoPro to take photos/videos?

All phones and GoPros must be body mounted to use to take photos or videos while you are tubing. It is required that you hold on to the tube with both hands.

Spectators may take photos from the patio area or from behind the fencing. For safety reasons, spectators are not allowed on the hill or along the sides of the lanes.

Drones are not permitted at Rabbit Hill at any time.

Is there somewhere I can watch?

Do you offer birthday party pricing?
