Using Your Ticket

Your Rabbit Hill RFID Card makes accessing the mountain faster and easier. Learn how to use your RFID ticket for lift tickets, tubing, and season passes, including how to reload your card and access the lifts.

How your ticket works

Your ticket is stored on a reloadable RFID card. Chances are you’ve already used RFID without realizing it. Using the same technology behind tap payments, hotel room keys, and mobile wallets, at Rabbit Hill, your RFID card works the same way, automatically opening the gates at our lifts so you can keep moving.

What does it mean for me as a guest?

Less time in line, less waste, and more time on the hill. Purchase your RFID card online and pick it up quickly at one of our ticket boxes near Customer Service. Your card can be reloaded as many times as you need. Once reloaded online, just head straight to the lift when you arrive. The same card works for lift tickets, tubing, and season passes.

Using Your RFID Card

At the lifts, you will see the gates installed in the queues. Simply stand close to the gate (you don’t have to touch it), and it will open automatically once it detects your card. If the gates do not open, step back and position your card close to the reader. Otherwise, our staff will be nearby and can assist you with accessing the lift.

Important Tips

Place the card on the LEFT side of your jacket (left arm, chest, or front pocket)

Ensure that the card is the only thing in your pocket!! Do not place your cell phone, credit cards, other RFID cards, and other electronic devices in the same pocket.

Handle RFID Cards with care. If they are bent, punched or scratched, they may not work properly.

Purchasing & Reloading

Save 15% and skip the ticket window lines by purchasing your lift ticket in advance online. Please note that all guests need an account to purchase online. If you’ve shopped with us in the last two years, you’re already set up—just log in. RFID Cards can also be purchased and reloaded in person at the Customer Service desk at our ticket window rate. For more information on managing your card online, visit Online Account Help or contact us at [email protected].

Your first RFID card is free and can be reused for future visits, including next season. First-time Season Pass holders will be sent a new card. If you already have one, your pass will be loaded onto it. Lost or forgotten cards can be reissued at Customer Service for a $5 replacement fee.

Please do not create a new account.

Duplicate accounts make it harder to reload your card and may cause issues at the lift.
