Weather Policies
Weather conditions can change quickly during the winter season. Temperature, wind chill, and weather conditions may impact operations at Rabbit Hill Snow Resort, including lift operations, closures, and lesson updates. Keeping our staff and guests safe comes first, here’s how we handle inclement weather conditions.
Cold Weather
If the daytime or evening temperature reaches -22°C or colder (without windchill), we may decide to close for the day.
High Windchill
If windchills reach -28°C or colder while we are open, the chairlift will not operate. However, all surface lifts will remain running, and all main runs are accessible from both T-bars.
