Alpine Academy

Alpine academy is ideal for skiers and snowboarders looking to develop their skills, it offers a deep dive into technique and performance.

Perfect for those who thrive in a focused group setting. Alpine Academy is offered at a variety of ability levels focusing on young skiers who love to be on the hill.

Your lift ticket and rentals are valid all day, from first chair to last chair. We encourage you to get out on the hill before and after your lesson, to put your skills to the test.

What to Expect

A great lesson starts with good planning, and a bit of important information.

Check in at the Lesson Desk at least 1 hour before your lesson, then head to the Rental Shop no later than 45 minutes prior. On holidays, give yourself up to an hour extra to avoid feeling rushed.

Check in at the Lesson Counter at least 30 minutes before your lesson start time.

Helmets are REQUIRED for all lesson participants.

Lessons can be purchased online a minimum of 24 hours in advance. Limited walk-in spots may be available, call the Lesson Desk at 780-955-2440 ext. 39 to check availability.

Groups are kept to 4-8 students to ensure personalized instruction. Students are grouped by age and ability. Your stated ability level helps us place you appropriately, though instructors may adjust groupings on arrival to ensure the best fit.

There are no makeup lessons or refunds for missed days. Consistent attendance is key to getting the most out of your lessons.

If Rabbit Hill cancels a lesson, you'll receive a credit toward future lessons or, where that isn't feasible, a refund for the cancelled session.

If you miss the first day of a program, you'll need to enroll in the next intake — joining on the second day is not permitted.
