Refund Policy

COVID-19: If Rabbit Hill is required to shut down for the season due to COVID-19, season pass holders will be entitled to a credit or refund. The credit or refund will be calculated based on the number of times the pass has been used multiplied by the price of a full day lift ticket and then subtracted from the price paid for the season pass. If Rabbit Hill is closed for a period of time during the season, but not the entire season, there will be no credits or refunds issued.

With the uncertainties created by the COVID-19 Pandemic, we would like to provide some confidence to our loyal customers who wish to buy a season pass in September at the best price of the year. Rabbit Hill is providing a "No Questions Asked" refund policy for any season pass purchased before November 1st.

  • 100% of your purchase will be refunded, no questions asked!
  • All refund requests MUST be made in writing by emailing before November 1, 2020.
  • Any refund requests made starting November 1 will be subject to our standard refund policy stated below.

Season Passes

All season pass refunds are subject to a 5% refund fee. Refunds on season passes will only be considered for serious injury, major medical conditions, or relocation of employment. Serious injury and major medical conditions must be supported by a doctor’s certificate. Relocation must be supported by a letter from an employer outlining transfer and employment location.

The amount of the refund is based on the prorated scale below and is subject to the 5% refund fee. All refunds are based on the purchase price of the season pass.

Refund requests must be made by email or in-person at Customer Service and will only be considered once all passes have been returned to Rabbit Hill. Email requests can be sent to Telephone conversations with Rabbit Hill employees does not constitute an official refund request.

Lift Tickets

Lift tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. Rain checks will be issued when snow and weather conditions do not meet our guest’s expectations within 60 minutes of purchase. If the chairlift is shut down due to weather or mechanical issues for more than 30 minutes, a rain check will be issued.

Please note that rain checks expire at the end of the current winter season, unless otherwise stated on the rain check. No refunds or exchanges will be issued on rain checks.

One Day Group Lessons and Private Lessons

All lesson refunds are subject to a 5% refund fee. One Day Group Lessons and Private Lessons are refundable only if cancelled at least 7 days prior to the lesson start date. Lessons can be transferred to another date within the same season at no charge up to 24 hours prior to the lesson start date.

No refund or credit will be issued to participants who choose to not show up or miss lessons for any reason. Lessons are held in all weather conditions. Lessons will be re-booked for another date if cancelled by Rabbit Hill due to a hill closure because of severe and unsafe weather conditions.

Lesson Bundles

Lesson Bundles are non-refundable. All lessons purchased in a bundle must be used by closing day in the season they were purchased.

Embrace Cards, Flexi Passes and Gift Cards

Embrace Cards, Flexi Passes and Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Rabbit Hill offers a monthly/bi-monthly newsletter and occasional promotional communications. Should you choose to enroll we will collect your contact information, such as name and email address. This information will only be used to send you the newsletter and promotional announcements that you have requested. You may “unsubscribe” at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in the footer of the newsletter or by using the unsubscribe link included below under the heading “Unsubscribe”. Our subscriber list is never sold or rented to other parties. We support Canadian Federal Privacy Legislation. We never exchange, sell, lend or rent your contact information.

Rabbit Hill sometimes provides links to other organizations’ websites. These links to another website does not mean that we are responsible for, or that we endorse the content or policy of that website. When you provide information at one of those sites, you are subject to that site’s privacy policy. Participate in a Contest or Promotion

From time to time, we may run contests or promotions. If you participate, you may be asked for contact information as well as additional optional survey information. Personal information from contest entries will be used only to administer the contest and contact you if you win. What type of information do we collect?

When you or your family members purchase products from Rabbit Hill we require some non-public personal information. The non-public information we retain may include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address, age, weight, shoe size, as well as your skiing or snowboarding ability level. If renting equipment for the day we may require a drivers license number for security purposes.

Why do we collect such information?

We collect this non-public information in order to process payment transactions, properly register you in lesson programs and to have accurate contact information in the case of an emergency. We also utilize the information to mail renewal opportunities and to inform our customers of any new products or promotions. In respect to renting equipment for the day, we collect personal information to ensure the return of the equipment and to assure us of the identity of the individual renting the equipment.

What about Credit Card or Debit Card information?

We do not store or retain any banking information. At the time of purchase you may provide us with a credit card number for payment, this can be done in person, online or over the phone. We do not store or record this information in our database. Any forms that are manually processed containing such information are shredded after the transaction has been completed.
